Product Description

Our new plain toed derby boot, a versatile and casual choice, welted on the HOK last; this time available in Cherry Marbled Shell Cordovan.

These boots are crafted using the unique Marbled Italian Shell Cordovan.

These Shells are made using the same exact Shell Cordovan as our regular Shell Cordovan from Rocado Tannery (Italy)—they have been tanned the same way and finished with the same aniline dyes. Only after drying is when these shells undergo an additional process of shaving before being glazed. The result of this shaving process makes a truly unique article, which reveals the natural tone of the shell alongside with the aniline dyes blending in a very irregular finish. This process ensures every Shell (and pair of boots) will be completely unique. A truly interesting & striking material.

The HOK is a voluminous last, featuring a wide ball tread, providing superior comfort to the wearer. It is our most forgiving & comfortable boot last so far, without losing a bit of style. Providing excellent support while retaining a snug heel control so that the foot remains in place avoiding any slippage or sliding-forward to within the boot. That is due to the newly redesigned & enhanced back part. We do recommend to wear the same size as the HIRO or RUI lasts, for a more relaxed fit, or going down half a size for a more close cut fit. Also suitable for customers in need of a wide fit.

    Unique & striking Cherry shade.

This shade exposes the marble effect heavily when sun-lightened up, and it maintains a more uniform appearance indoors. Absolutely beautiful tone that perfectly suits the Service Boot.
