MEERMIN 1951, S.L., with VAT ID B57068413 and registered office at Calle Gremi de Cirurgians i Barbers 25, 07009, Palma, Balearic Islands, Spain (hereinafter referred to as "MEERMIN" or "the Company") sets forth the following General Terms and Conditions governing the purchase of MEERMIN products through the website https://eu.meermin.com (hereinafter, the “Website”).

These General Terms of Sale apply to the European Website. For the terms and conditions applicable to other regions, please refer to the relevant local website.

We recommend that you read these Terms carefully before placing an order and that you download or print a copy for your records.

1. GENERAL INFORMATION

These Terms are available in English, Spanish, German, and French, and are governed by the European legislation in force at the time of purchase.

Specifically, they comply with Directive (EU) 2019/2161 of 27 November 2019, amending Council Directive 93/13/EEC and Directives 98/6/EC, 2005/29/EC and 2011/83/EU, and with Directive 2000/31/EC on electronic commerce.

These Terms are permanently available on our Website.

Only individuals over 18 years of age acting on their own behalf may place orders. By accepting these Terms, you declare that you are of legal age.

2. PURPOSE

These Terms regulate the online sale of shoes, belts, and bags via https://eu.meermin.com.

By purchasing any MEERMIN product through the Website, the customer agrees to these General Terms and Conditions.

3. PRODUCT INFORMATION AND AVAILABILITY

Each product listed on the Website includes:

  • Product images
  • Product price (including any discounts or promotions)
  • Composition and materials
  • Size selection options

Key product features are displayed on each product page. Due to browser or device settings, product images may differ slightly in color, dimensions, or appearance from the actual product.

Products are available for delivery across Spain, the European Union, Switzerland, and Norway.

Product availability is indicated on the Website. If an item is out of stock, an alert will be shown and customers may enter their email to receive a notification when it becomes available.

4. ORDER PLACEMENT AND PURCHASE PROCESS

You may browse the Website without registering. However, to complete a purchase, you must log in or create an account once items are added to the cart.

Steps to place an order:

  1. Visit https://eu.meermin.com and select the product(s), specifying quantity, color, and size.
  2. Add the selected items to your cart and click “Add to cart.”
  3. Review your cart to verify product details, quantities, individual and total prices (including applicable taxes on EU orders).
  4. Apply any discount code or gift card in the corresponding field.
  5. Before payment, accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy by checking the relevant box.
  6. You may also subscribe to our newsletter for updates and exclusive offers.
  7. If you identify any error after placing the order, contact Customer Service with your order number and correction.

Once the order is completed, you will receive an automatic confirmation email.

5. PRICES AND PAYMENT METHODS

5.1 Currency and Prices

Prices are shown in the currency selected by the customer. Available currencies include:

  • EUR (Euro) for most of Europe
  • SEK (Swedish krona)
  • NOK (Norwegian krone)
  • DKK (Danish krone)
  • CHF (Swiss franc)

Prices for EU and Spanish deliveries include VAT. Prices for Switzerland and Norway do not include applicable local taxes.

Price updates do not affect previously confirmed orders. MEERMIN may occasionally offer site-wide discounts, clearly explained on the Website, including return terms.

5.2 Accepted Payment Methods

Payments are processed via the chosen payment platform. MEERMIN does not store payment details, except for the last four digits of the card, which are retained by Shopify for internal verification. For more on personal data processing, see our Privacy Policy.

5.3 Financing

MEERMIN offers interest-free payment in 3 installments via Klarna Bank AB, Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden.

Your personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and Klarna’s privacy policy.

6. GIFT CARD

MEERMIN offers a digital gift card available via the dedicated section of the Website, with values from €50 to €1,000. Cards are delivered via email with redemption instructions. The recipient’s email may be specified at purchase.

To redeem the card, apply it during checkout in the designated field. Logged-in users can also view available gift credit directly at checkout.

Unless otherwise stated, gift cards are valid for 12 months from purchase and incur no additional fees.

7. SHIPPING COSTS AND DELIVERY TIMES

7.1 Shipping Options

MEERMIN ships worldwide. Shipping costs vary by destination and delivery method.

7.1.1 Express Shipping

Express delivery is available. Orders must be placed before 10:00 AM for same-day dispatch.

7.1.2 Home Delivery

Orders are delivered via UPS, FedEx, USPS, GLS, SF Express, or DHL depending on the destination. A tracking number will be provided by email.

Once shipped, address changes cannot be made. For modifications, please contact the courier directly.

7.1.3 In-Store Pickup

You may choose to collect your order from one of our stores (Madrid or Paris).
You will receive an email notification when your order has been delivered to the store and is ready for pickup.

7.2 Delivery Times and Shipping Costs

Delivery times and costs depend on destination and shipping method selected at checkout.
Custom and MTO items are made to order and subject to longer delivery times, which will be communicated during the ordering process.

8. MEERMIN LOYALTY PROGRAM

Create an account on our Website or app to join the MEERMIN Rewards Program and start earning points and discounts.

8.1 Loyalty Tiers

  • Fan (Tier 1): Earn 1 point per €1 spent. Referral option available.
  • Insider (Tier 2): Reach this level by spending €750 or referring 5 friends.
  • Legend (Tier 3): Reach this level by spending €2000 or referring 10 friends.

8.2 Redeeming Points

Log in to your account and add products to your cart. At checkout, your available points will be displayed. You can apply points for a discount before completing payment.

Returned or cancelled orders will result in the removal of the associated points.

8.3 Earning Points in Physical Stores (Madrid & Paris)

Points earned in MEERMIN’s physical stores in Madrid and Paris are also reflected in your online account.

(Purchases at our New York store fall under the North America website.)

8.4 Refunds and Points

If you return a product, points earned from that purchase will be deducted from your account.

9. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

You have 30 calendar days from delivery to return your product(s) in perfect condition.

Shoes should be tried on carpeted surfaces to avoid sole wear. Worn items (especially those with marked soles) will not be eligible for return.

Exclusions: Custom, personalized, and MTO (Made To Order) items.

Returns must include original packaging: MEERMIN shoe box, dust bag, and outer box. The shoe box may not be used as a shipping container.

9.1 Exercising the Right of Withdrawal

Go to the Returns Portal, enter your order number and email address, select the item to return, and state your reason. A flat fee of €12 will be deducted to cover the return label and restocking cost. Print the provided label and ship the package within 7 calendar days.

If you paid for the Return Coverage fee at checkout, visit the return portal Returns Portal to get your return label at no additional charge.

Alternatively, you may return the item at your own expense using our Return Form.

For Switzerland, Norway, Cyprus and Andorra, MEERMIN cannot provide return labels at this point. Customers must handle shipping.

Once the item is received in brand new, unworn condition, a refund will be issued within 14 business days to the original payment method.

If you wish to exchange an item, MEERMIN will ship the replacement once the return is received.

If a product is defective, contact us via the Contact Form within 14 days of receipt.

10. WARRANTY

All MEERMIN products are covered by the applicable legal warranty.

If a product does not conform to its description or function, MEERMIN will repair, replace, offer a price reduction, or refund the item, as appropriate.

Note: If the non-conformity results from a feature clearly disclosed at the time of purchase, MEERMIN is not liable.

Warranty claims must be submitted via the Contact Form

Products must be sent to: Calle Claudio Coello 20, 28001 Madrid, Spain.

Warranty does not cover damage from misuse or normal wear and tear. Tampering by third parties voids the warranty.

11. MODIFICATIONS TO THESE TERMS

MEERMIN reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be published on the Website to keep users informed.

12. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

Any disputes will be governed by the applicable legal jurisdiction. For consumers, the competent court will be that of their place of residence.
